Finally finished this drawing after it being on my drawing desk for a long, long time.
I’m a fan of the Ultramarines and who doesn’t love the Heavy Bolter to rain hell down upon the Heretic and the Xenos!

Still on the fence about this game in terms of openness and freedom to choose how to tackle scenarios and such. Will probably wait for a full review before I make any decisions.

I have ordered a Sony Reader PRS 650 for Rei and myself and I hope to have a paws on them early next week. Looks like a very nice piece of kit :) I’ll try and resist giving Rei hers until xmas >:)

Coding a new site at the moment, a local jewellry. I’ve done photography work for them previously, ironically, the photos were for their website <.<  Their website should have been launched last year but the coder they had seems to have lost interest or something. Haven’t really gotten a solid design in my head but I’m currently gathering bits of code and putting stuff together. Have done a nice automated css slideshow with jQuery using this awesome work here.

Also, the wait continues for the Wacom Inkling to become available. I really want!

My small social group generally consists of geeks/nerds. For years ( now that I think of it, well over a decade ) we have been playing pen and paper RPG’s consistantly.

Dungeons & Dragons, Legend of the Five Rings, Call of Cthulhu, Werewolf: The Apocalypse, Dark Heresy & Deathwatch. We generally rotate throughout this list with different people running campaigns from time to time.

Tonight, we are continuing a L5R campaign. Fingers-crossed my Tsuruchi Archer Bounty Hunter won’t be killed, or if it comes to that, a heroic demise would be pretty awesome.

Bleh, enough rambling.

Primarily, I think I am too hung up on the feeling that my drawing isn’t good enough. This is turn compels me to not draw at all. I need to be less concerned about the end result and just draw. I will improve as time goes by, I just need to spend those hours working to get there.

Started a drawing a few days ago, my ultramarine character from SpaceMarine. Working on the shading now and I’m having trouble getting an even tone.

Also, I really want one of these, Wacom Inkling.
